Shawn Robin-Tyler is a hero. Long before her diagnosis and 'days of terror' she was doing everything she could to help world around her...

She started a charity in the 3rd grade and began adopting shelters, filling food banks and delivering meals and even Christmas presents to children living in tents and cardboard... boxes across Los Angeles...

Everything was good until one day it wasn't. While packing lunches for homeless children, Shawn went down with eye pain and suddenly, she couldn't see her hand in front of her face. She was rushed to the ER, given and MRI, blood tests and eventually UCLA made the diagnosis that she had NMOSD.

NMOSD is a rare autoimmune disease that can blind you, paralyze you or even kill you, sometimes in minutes...
